Science Lab Welcome Technician
SIS Secondary is pleased to welcome a new lab technician
SIS Secondary is pleased to welcome Gribi Boubaker as our science lab technician. His job is to assist our science teachers set up the science lab in order to conduct experiments as part of the practical, hands-on learning process in their classes. Dr. Hanen Jrah and the Year 13 Biology class were the first to conduct an experiement with Mr. Boubaker.

SIS Secondary is excited to welcome new and returning students to school for the 2022/2023 school year!
The first day of school will be Monday, September 5, 2022 with classes starting 8:25am.
Sports Day!
Students enjoyed the day at Dar Shabeb participating in team activities organized by PE teacher Wael and a group of international volunteers on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
Students from Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 enjoyed a variety of sport activities at Dar Shabeb.

Good day students!Are you good at writing lyrics? Do you have a good sense of rhythm and rhyme? Do you like coming up with tunes/ rhythmic beats?Here is a chance to showcase your talent! Put together a school song or chant for Sousse International School. Conditions are:
- Must be between 10 to 20

The students were very creative in how they brought their books and supplies to school.

Football Tournament- February 18, 2022
4Special guests from Norway organized a football tournament for students in year 7, 8, 9 and 10. The year 12 students held a fundraising bake sale. Many students played and other students had fun cheering on their classmates.

Students in Year 11 & 12 were fortunate to receive a visit from Professor Mohamed S Zaibi - the Director for the Institute of Biomedical and Bioscience Research, The Clore Laboratory and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Buckingham in the UK.

Turning the Frown Upside Down

Today we were fortunate to have special guests share a lesson about gratefulness with students. Our guests shared some of the incredible benefits of living a life of gratitude. Then the students had the task of creating a play about gratefulness/ungratefulness. Everyone enjoyed the creativity that the students displayed in their plays!

On Thursday the 11th of February 2022, teachers at SIS attended a workshop with our Learning Support lead, Mr Lawrence, on the challenges of ADHD and how to help students who have ADHD in the classroom.
